About Me

Ræ Azzopardi, the multidisciplinary artist and designer known as MORTVL, specializes in illustration, painting, graphic design and audio. They studied illustration at OCAD University and work at Idea Exchange's OPO maker's space encouraging creativity and learning. The content of their work contemplates duality, nature, technology, mental health, and life cycles.

While they are primarily an illustrator, they are constantly experimenting and expanding their repertoire. They deeply value learning and teach their skillsets to those who visit the maker's space they work out of. When they are not at the maker's space, they are illustrating album art, creating logos, making art for galleries, doing community work and making music.
